Second motorhome camping excursion for us. So as newbies, as might be expected, we did encounter a problem with our rig. Jim, and his good friend Tom ( a Canyon Country Campground regular) jumped in, and saved the day. Jim and Lindy have some very good rules in place, and all there followed them, which made our stay perfect. Facilities were spotless, customers friendly, sites well shaded, and close enough to the "Canyon" to enjoy it, but not so close that you are overwhelmed with day trippers. We plan to return, to check out all that we missed on our four night visit, and to check out the fall foliage, which should be beautiful, and to say hi once again to these awesome owners (Jim and Lindy) who made our stay very enjoyable. Hi! my husband and I loved our trip to Canyon Country ! We stayed in a tent during our trip the bath houses are very very clean . The area around the camp ground is great for hiking and the sites have shade so they were not to hot ! Thank you guys for a great stay ! Tisha and Tom Schaults
This campground is very nice, well maitained, and has plenty of shade trees. The bathroom is clean and the shower is hot (always a plus). The owners are exeremely nice, very knowledgeable of the canyon trails, and willing to take the time to map them out. Great experience!!
Would like to say me and the wife stayed here.the owners Jim and Lindy were very nice . the camp grounds and cabins very clean even the bathhouse was clean .the place was not that expensive would give it 5stars worth every penny.would recommend it to anyone.going back next year Anthony and Joy Meçca Submitted By: Anthony Mecca
We so enjoyed our stay. I especially loved the women's bathroom. How clean and pretty. With the painted butterflies and flowers on the walls, the netting holding the potpourri and to the spotlessness of the bathroom this was pretty enough to be in a hotel!! I felt that the owners were friendly, had a nice of variety of things to purchase (I forgot my toothbrush) and some nice mementos! My husband and I loved how quiet the campground was. We camped at Canyon Country for 4 days, it is a BEAUTIFUL campground and everyone was really friendly. We arrived a little early (in a rainstorm) and that was not a problem for Jim, he was very helpful and kind. We would highly recommed this campground, and the beautiful surrounding area. This is my favorite place on Earth to be!! Jim, Lindy (and, of course, Zoey) are amazing and keep the campground a wonderful place to have a nice, relaxing vacation.
